Brilliant episode Regis. Love it. You have a great voice to work-out to - my stationary bike took a beating this morning.
I would be honoured to come back on ATS - just let me know when.
I also took to heart your comments about Twitter. I know that when you joined the Twitterati, I posted a Twitter comment that said: "Joseph Jaffe has joined the Twitterati. A sign of the apocalypse? Has Twitter jumped the shark - you decide."
It was meant as a joke (of course). But if you took it the wrong way, I 100% apologize - that was not my intent. I was trying to say, "look at how new Twitter is and look how few people know, care or want to participate - including people who I consider on the cutting edge." You're also right in saying that some of these "tools" become too exclusive instead of trying to reach mass audiences. Twitter may well be the Bloggers insider joke... which would be a tragic twist.
We tend to live in the echo chamber, and, as you can read from my Blog, I'm having a hard time remembering all of my identities, where I'm posting and what I'm supposed to post about ;)
I can't wait to read Join The Conversation... and please do keep your conversations going... I'm reading, listening, participating and joining... and BTW, I might be one of the few to say this, but I would pay for it. I would pay for it even if I never used it. I would pay for it because I enjoy your content and would be willing to support the creation of it through money.
Content may indeed want to be free, but I have no issue paying it... I love supporting the arts :)
