I'm in the UK, so you have more than three "international" listeners!
I don't mind the baseball metaphors as they are usually clear from the context. I don't like the use of International to mean non-US, it makes me feel like the US is the default, and it shouldn't be really. But hey, it's not going to ruin my day so keep up the good work with the podcast.

Hey guys.
I'll try to keep this comment shorter than the last one, seeing as it overwhelmed Steve. ;-) The problem is no doubt that I'm not a real blogger--I'm more of a columnist who uses blog software because it's such an easy way to publish.
Anyway, I'm intrigued by the discussion of splogs and Blogspot. "Splog" is a word that sounds as ugly as what it means, and I love Joe's coinage "spodcast," though I hope that it never turns from concept to reality. (I have to say, though, that a 2-minute podcast which gives 30 seconds up to ads does come close.)
Shutting down Blogspot because of splogs would be a bit like shutting down the internet because of e-mail spam or closing down the post office because of junk mail. Nevertheless I tend to agree that a blogspot.com address makes a blogger look less professional. I use Blogger for my FileSlinger Backup Blog, but I host it on my own website, so it shares the fileslinger.com URL. (Among other things, this allows me to back up my backup blog.)
When I went to set up my other two blogs, I opted for WordPress, which is provided by my web hosting company as part of the service. WordPress allows for a number of features which Blogger doesn't have, such as categories, not to mention nearly infinite customization if you are sufficiently geeky to tweak the plugins without corrupting your installation. I'm only a geek manquee, but I'm also a sole proprietor, so a no-added-cost solution appealed to me.
I'd certainly recommend checking out the blog software options available through your existing web host if you're on a tight budget. The storage space required for a blog is negligible, and bandwidth demands shouldn't be high until you get into the millions of visitors, unless you're also podcasting (but let's hope not spodcasting).
Cheers,
Sallie

Hey, I am the 5 th international listener...located in Tel Aviv, Israel. I love your show, and I always wait impatiently for the next episodes. I usually refer to you guys to many of the media/ad agency people I work with when they ask for where to look for tap information on all the new things going on in the new media/advertising/pr/blogging and podcasting world.
Keep up the good job. Your number 1 fan in Israel.

I was very pleasantly surprised to hear a South African accent, when I subscribed to the podcast for the first time today. It's great to see more and more South African making their footprint in blogs and podcasts all over the world.
